The Core Beliefs of Lifeline Church

The Bible is the absolute authority.

We believe that God has blessed humanity by giving them his Word. The collection of 66 books in the the Bible are divinely inspired and given to us by God himself with the intended purpose to establish a standard for truth, guidance, and most importantly a relationship.

We believe that Jesus is “…the way the truth and the life” (John 14:6) and that he is the only way to receive salvation. We believe that Jesus was more than just a good teacher or a prophet, but rather that he was, and is, the true son of God.

Jesus is the way.

Father, Son, Holy Spirit.

We believe in the divine Trinity—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—that God is one God and three Persons. All three persons of the Trinity are united as one and work together for a shared ultimate purpose to love and restore humanity.

God’s grace is sufficient.

We believe that there is nothing a person can do to earn or deserve the kindness of God. It is out of his compassion and power that each of us has access to salvation. (2 Corinthians 12:8-10)

God empowers his people.

We believe that God has commissioned his people for a great purpose, to love him and tell the world about the redemptive love of God. He empowers his people both with a command (Matthew 28:18-20 & Acts 1:1-11) and with the presence of his Holy Spirit who he calls our Advocate and Counselor.
