Why should I participate with a mission trip?

In Jesus' final moments with his disciples, He gives a clear and vital instruction:

"I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth. Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Matthew 28:18-20

Our response to that instruction is first to realize that it is God's heart that all people have the chance to discover the grace of God and to be invited into His Kingdom. We partner with Jesus by stepping outside of our everyday context of life to GO and MAKE DISCIPLES in all nations.
